High standards are an asset. Until they start running you.
Psychological coaching for people who expect a lot of themselves. I'm a psychologist who has led teams and built companies, and I work in a very concrete way, so that things actually change in your everyday life.

Does one of these sound familiar?
Why am I always running on empty?
Exhaustion rarely has a single cause. We start with an energy audit: what fuels you, what drains you, and whether that matches what you value. Often there's an inner driver or a streak of perfectionism underneath. From there we build a structure that helps you handle stress and get your energy back. Starting early is what makes this real burnout prevention.
More on Psychological CoachingWhat do I do when everything comes apart at once?
A career upheaval, a personal loss. Sometimes it all lands at once, and life still has to go on. First we focus on relief and on getting your feet back on solid ground. We deliberately strengthen what keeps you steady (resource activation) and agree on concrete next steps.
More on Psychological CoachingWhy do I keep saying yes to more than is good for me?
Often it's people-pleasing: wanting to keep everyone happy and dreading letting anyone down. A personality assessment helps us see where that comes from. Then you practice new ways of setting boundaries, holding them, and saying what you need.
More on Psychological CoachingWhy is nothing I do ever quite good enough?
Your high standards and your inner critic probably got you where you are today. Still, that voice deserves a closer look, especially once it starts costing you. We give it a counterweight, a kind of inner mentor who talks to you more constructively. And we put your self-worth on firmer ground.
More on Psychological CoachingWhose definition of success am I living?
A lot of our ideas about success are borrowed without our noticing. You reach the goal, and the satisfaction you expected never shows up. Through values and identity work we get clear on what actually matters to you. You come away with your own definition of success, one you can measure decisions and goals against.
More on Psychological CoachingWhat kind of leader do I want to be?
Many of the leaders I work with struggle to have uncomfortable conversations and to spell out what they expect. We work on how you come across and on a leadership style that fits you. We prepare feedback and conflict conversations in detail and debrief them afterwards. That's how you learn to stay composed under pressure.
More on Leadership CoachingHow do I build a company without losing myself?
Founding comes with enormous pressure. Before long, life is mostly the company, and your sense of worth rises and falls with it. Through self-worth work we untangle the two a little. With deliberate energy management we look for a balance where your ambition, your health and a good life can coexist.
More on Founder CoachingWhy do I keep putting off what matters?
You know what would be good for you, and you still don't do it. Or the important things keep sliding to next week. Procrastination is often avoidance in disguise, and it's worth understanding exactly how yours works. Then we change habits step by step and get clear on priorities.

Hi, I'm Adrian
I'm a psychologist and coach with an entrepreneurial background. I led a team at a startup and later founded companies of my own. So I know what responsibility feels like, and how easily you lose sight of what you actually want. Today I work with people in demanding roles across tech, sales, consulting and the startup world.

What clients say

Priorities, not a nonstop sprint
“I'm a founder, and I constantly felt I had to get through one to-do after another. [...] I pushed myself to my limits for weeks on end and kept getting sick. Working with Adrian, I learned to set priorities differently [...] and to stop tying my worth to my performance alone.”
Frequently asked questions
In the free intro call we get to know each other. I explain how I work, you tell me what's going on, and together we see whether we're a good fit. It takes about 20 minutes, online, with no commitment.
Either works. We can meet online or at my practice in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin.
It depends on what you're dealing with. Some things can be worked through in a few sessions, others take longer. We set a rough plan at the start and adjust it as we go.
I'm a trained psychologist, and I'm also licensed to practice psychotherapy under Germany's Heilpraktiker law. I work with evidence-based methods and have my work supervised regularly. If a different kind of support would serve you better, I'll tell you so and help you find it through my network.
Yes. There are packages of 5 and 10 sessions if you'd like a clear framework, and I also set up individual arrangements, depending on what you need.
Most of my clients are employed, as leaders or senior specialists, mainly in tech, sales and consulting. I also work with founders, co-founders and self-employed people. What brings you here matters more than your title or the size of your company.
Founder Coaching is coaching you book yourself, as a founder or as co-founders together. With Founder Support, I'm the dedicated psychologist for your whole founding and leadership team.
Yes. As a psychologist with a state-recognized degree, I'm bound by professional confidentiality under Section 203 of the German Criminal Code. Everything we discuss stays between us, whether you pay yourself or your employer does.
What I offer here is coaching: no diagnoses, no billing through health insurance, tailored to what you need. I'm also licensed to practice psychotherapy as a Heilpraktiker, but these services focus on coaching.
Often, yes. Many companies have a training or coaching budget. Your HR team can tell you how it works where you are, and I'm happy to provide whatever information they need.
